Equations Of Harmony

It's not surprising how those who you'd consider more "average" tend not/just don't seem to recognize intelligence in others, where as intellectuals spot and appreciate intelligence quite easily. They comment, they compliment, they engage in meaningful conversation, they connect. But the norm just doesn't click like that, they don't have much to say, and if they do its usually not of any real worth - frustrating because I can't do small talk, well I'm not very good at it. So most of the time I just keep my mouth shut, I'll just stand there on the outskirts of the group and watch them laughing and joking about mindless bullshit - not that theirs anything wrong with that. I just obviously dislike the feeling of exclusion, the lack of truth, lack of true connection and intimacy.

I'm quite a spiritual person, and art is spiritual. A lot of people may have to associate spirituality with religion, which I don't think is completely necessary... and that there is no reason why a scientist can't be spiritual either, I see spirituality as I see art (in a way) again its all about perception and how you choose to perceive the world around you. Like ecstasy, bliss, Nirvana - its a state of mind, well more a whole other perception of certain "qualities" of the universe. Its surrealistic and beautiful, like art... you take something, a certain/random aspect of the world (a feeling, a piece of this reality) and you change into something so much more, with the creations of your own intelligence and emotions.

I love to create characters, I like to take two people and put them together; two individuals who're perfectly - just made for each other. I like to create pretty pictures in my mind, ones of Nirvana-like experiences and places of oneness, peace, unity. Somewhere where everything - the existence of life plays out in perfect harmony. Ethereal, farfetched... but not totally impossible. I've always seen it as being two types of impossible: an impossible which is in fact literally impossible, and the type where something isn't possible yet, in this place and point in time and reality - but it COULD be, in an ideally awesome sense. If I were to picture the world in quite an alien, maybe futuristic way (well not really) as in, if this world was full of highly, highly intelligent beings who're so far ahead and utterly beyond this - technology, science, religion and all; would they/we live in peace and harmony? Would we be so extremely intelligent and balanced that there would be no wars or killings - probably not. Because it is that naturally humans and the whole of this, are paradoxical and eaven the most intelligent of men could mindlessly kill out of there own selfish desires/want for power, or just of pure hatred and heartlessness. But I do think that there would be less fighting/wars etc. because man would be intelligent enough to cooperate and agree (work around things the right, ethical way), so therefore we'd exist in a more harmonious manner. It's be a much more beautiful, stable, secure world to live in - but unfortunately that's not the way it is. Have you ever noticed how some of the most troubled geniuses of our world, also have this exquisite serenity about them? They're sincere and wise, and I'm very grateful for there righteous words, which I most surely agree on. Like Einstein once said "Our task must be to free ourselves from this prison by widening our circle of compassion to embrace all living creatures and the whole nature in its beauty. Nobody is able to achieve this completely but striving for such achievement is, in itself, a part of the liberation and a foundation for inner security."
