Personal Quote: An idealistic sense of pure [universal] love, is my 'religion'.
Born in Nottingham in the winter of '94 my parents moved us to Cornwall, where we then lived for the next eleven years. Inspired by dreams, fairies and the anime Sailor Moon I spent the vast majority of my childhood either drawing, or playing in the ocean in my spare time, though home life was difficult due to my father's alcoholism, and the conflict it caused within the family unit; my parents separated in 2002. The move back to Nottingham deemed a devastating and somewhat traumatic event for me as it meant leaving behind all that I knew, and the place that I loved so dearly. Throughout my adolescence I've suffered with various mental illness, including depression, anxiety and the eating disorder bulimia nervosa. My admission to hospital in 2011 ultimately proved to be a positive transition as I was able to finally open up to those around me - the patients who bared similarities to myself, through experience and personal interest, I befriended and am still in contact with now. This period ultimately helped me to build my self-confidence and become more socially relaxed. I am now engaged to a lovely man named Gary, who has improved my life altogether. I'm deeply interested in music, art, philosophy, literature and personal style, and am hoping to study Fashion at college next September.
